The Greeks have released the four songs that will be taking part in their national final on 12 March. The composers and artists have not yet been published, to get all the attention to the soings themselves. Listen to the songs here.
Greek broadcaster ERT already announced earlier that the winning song will be 'delivered' by record company Universal Music. In return for that Universal will pay the bill. Something that comes in handy in a country that is struck hard by the economical crisis.

Number two in the 2009 edition of Pop Idol in Slovakia, Miro Šmajda, will represent her country in Azerbaijan next May. A song has not been selected yet.

The Azerbaijani have released approximate prices for a Eurovision deal next year. Including 6 nights in a 3 star hotel it would set us back approximately 1100 Euro, which means this will be a very expensive Eurovision experience again....

Three of the original members of Bucks Fizz are currently performing under the name 'The Original Bucks Fizz', original member number four, Bobby G did not like that at all and now won a court case, stating he owns the rights to the bands' name. Pfff.... why bother?
