Seven of the remaining top 10 positions also have their roots in this year's Melodifestivalen. Including Charlotte Perrelli's The Girl that didn't even make it to either one of the finals. Ooh Aah | Back to NL!
Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:03News Round-up of the day. The Junior ESC will return to the Netherlands next year, the host city is still to be announced.
The Eurovision Song Contest has lost quite a bit of its appeal in the Netherlands during the last decade. This doesn't go for the Junior contest, which is very popular still. In 2007 the contest was organised successfully in Rotterdam, two years later the Netherlands even managed to win the contest. Next year the contest will be back in the low countries, it is not known where AVRO will organise the event. Most of us here at 12points.tv are Dutch, so no need mentioning that we are enthusiastic about this news!
