++ Moldova's hora farewell - Moldova will select its Eurovision entry on 11 March, a day later than originally planned. That will make Moldova the last country to select its Eurovision entry. A week later all delegations have to deliver there entry in Azerbaijan. Nelly Ciobanu is no longer part of the Moldovan selection. This was reported by the local broadcaster.
++Anna's surprises at UMK - Anna Abreu will be the guest star in the final of UMK (Uuden musiikin kilpailu) in Helsinki Ice Hall this Saturday promising a show never seen in Finland before by a Finnish artist. Abreu is a finnish artists that had several successes abroad too.

++ Human rights in Azerbaijan remain an issue, according to Amnesty International - Amnesty International has urged Azerbaijan to address what it called the "unsavory truth" of its record on human rights. The human rights watchdog said in a press briefing that ahead of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku the country should release 16 prisoners held since April 2011 in the wake of government protests. Azerbaijan in the mean time still condemns the politicisation of the contest.
