Host country Azerbaijan will be represented by Sabina Babayeva this year. She won last night in the Azeri national final, where she beat her four competetors. The song she will be singing in Baku has not been selected yet. In the coming weeks it is going to be written for her. Babayeva already tried to represent Azerbaijan last year, but didn't reach the final then. Now she was the clear favorit.
++ Star für Baku Tonight Shelly Phillips, Roman Lob, Yana Gercke and Ornella de Santis will fight for two tickets in the German final on Thursday. The semi final starts at 20:15 and can be watched here.
++ Ukrainian line up almost complete – On Wednesday, 15 February, the last act to participate in the Ukrainian selection for Eurovision 2012 will be revealed. The Ukrainian national final will take place on 18 February.
