++ "...and the conductor is Noel Kelehan" is a familiar sentence for anybody watching the Eurovision already in the last century. The sad news that Noel passed away reached us today, so even if conductors and live orchestras would come back to the contest, we will never hear that line again. Kelehan conducted 29 Eurovision entries, 24 of them Irish, 5 of them winners.
