++ While we are recovering from the first Melodifestivalen weekend, we read in Aftonbladet, that the first semi final already broke a record in Sweden. Almost 3.4 million people tuned in to watch the start of this year's Swedish Eurovision season. Thorsten Flinck's hand is still keeping the popular press busy in the meantime. Sweden selected Loreen and Dead By April as winners, they will go directly to Globen, where the final is held like every year.

++ On 10 March, the Romanians will select their hope for Baku. Today the Romanian broadcaster, TVR, calls for entries. Until 23 February songs can be submitted.
