++ Abba is going to release a new song, the Guardian reports. From a twinkling star to a passing angel will be added to the re-release of ABBA's last album The Visitors. The album is expected at the end of April. A reunion of the real fabulous four is not to be expected, even though they never officially split up.
++ The French song hasn't been released yet.... but a snippet you can hear here already! Anggun is planning to visit 15 European countries and is invited to five national finals already to promote her song for France. This all sounds quite promising, if not the snippet does at least!
++ UMK kicks off in Finland tonight... the new format to find the Finnish representative for Baku. A webcast will be available here.
++ Rachel Scharnberg and Leonie Burgmer were eliminated in Germany last night..... Eight contestants left in Unser Star Für Baku.
++ Georgian broadcaster 1TV only received 13 apllicants for this years national final. The Georgian final is going to take place mid February but an exact date has not been set yet. The 13 that want to go to Baku are Anri Jokhadze, Boris Bedia, Davi, Edward Tatiani, Levan Jibladze, Lina Asatashvili, Salome Simonishvili, Shmagi Tagiashvili, The Georgians, Vanilla Cage, Mirror Illusion, REMA and Industrial City.
++ Ukraine had planned to have it's national final on 10 February. It took a bit longer to find the artists to be taking part, so now the final has been postponed. Find the list of songs here.
++ In 2007 the Junior Song Contest was presented by Kim Lian. This year the contest will be back in the Netherlands and presented by her again, together with Ewout Genemans this time.
