The 41st edition of Melodi Grand Prix, teh Danish national final will take place in the Gigantum arena in Aalborg on 21 January. Unlike in some previous years there will not be any semi final. Three of the nine finalists will be selected by a jury and televote to proceed to a super final. The Danish jury, together with an international jury consisting of members from Germany, Norway, Russia and Azerbaijan (the last four winners) will have a 50% share in deciding the winner. The televote will be responsible for the other half. One of the acts in this line up has been disqualified because the song was published too early: Tine Lynggaard's Nowhere.
