JESC: Lithuania & Latvia withdraw

ESCKaz.com reports today that both Lithuania and Latvia have announced their withdrawal in the 2012 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The Lithuanian broadcaster has stated that there is no budget for the participation after the European soccer championships and the Olympics this year. Latvia has not yet issued any details, but it is known that they already had some financial problems last year.
Lithuania has partcipated four times in the junior Eurovision Song Contest, Latvia five.
