Artists 2012
12points.tv introduces the artists that are going to be participating in the 2012 ESC, starting of with Iris - Belgium 2012.
In Belgium Walloon and Flemish broadcasters take turns in selecting the artist to represent the country. In 2012 it is Flanders' turn again. After the succes VRT had two years ago with an internal selection rather than a big national selection show, they have decided to go for the same format. In 2004 Xandee reached a 22nd position in the final, in 2006 Kate Ryan did not even manage to make it though the semi final, with her Je t'adore. The same goes for the country's 2008 song O Julissi by Ishtar, a song in an imaginary language (In 2003 the Walloons still managed to achieve a silver position with that).
