Half Swedish artists announced

Timoteij, Sonja Aldén, Afrodite, Andreas Lundtsedt, Loreen. Quite some names that make us happy.
This morning SVT announced the first half of the artists that will be taking part in Melodifestivalen this year. Quite some names were rumoured already. And most of these rumours were right.

The Irish are going to bring their entries out in the open, this afternoon. The 5 songs for the national final on 24 February will be presented in the RTÉ radio show Mooney (listen here). Among the contestants there are two Eurovision veterans: Donna McCaul (Ireland'05) and Jedward (Ireland'11).

News Round-up of the day, The Norwegians have released one more name. Or actually two...
Silya Nymoen is not only going to be performing as an artist in the Norwegian Eurovisison selection, Melodi Grand Prix, but also as a writer. She has written the entry for Rikke Norrmann, who we know from last years MGP. This time she is aiming higher than in 2011, when she didn't receive a top 4 position in the final.
