Presenting this year's Eurovision artists. No less than 10 songs this year are co-written by Swedes. This is one of them: Cypriot Ivi Adamou singing La la love.

Today CyBC, the Cypriot broadcaster confirmed that Ivi Adamou is going to represent Cyprus in Baku next May. This is the first confirmed artist for 2012. Even though young Ivi ended up 6th in the second series of Greek X-factor, Sony Music gave her a contract after her participation in the popular show.

Baku 2012 will finally burst into life this afternoon. Buta Palace, which was the venue for the Azerbaijani Eurovision preselection of 2010, will be the host of several key events in preparation for the contest in Baku in the upcoming 2 days.

Today the first three participants (Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus) of the Junior Eurovision Songcontest arrived at Yerevan.

Breaking News. Eurovision In Concert is promising to become more successful than ever, Turkey, Switzerland, San Marino and Cyprus are confirmed.

Switzerland was the first country to reveal its Eurovision entry this year. Now they are among the first to confirm their participation at Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam. Sinplus will be joined by Ivi Adamou from Cyprus, Can Bonomo from Turkey and the yet to be announced artist for San Marino. There are more artistst to follow.

Last week RTP announced that the Portuguese final is going to take place on 10 March, today some more information about the national selection in Poland was added. Unlike in recent years there will not be an internet selection. Artists with a record deal on their CV are invited to attend one of the castings organised. The Portugese hope to get a total of 12 acts for their final this way. After the selection of the artists the songs will be selected. All songs will have to be sung in Portuguese.

ESCRadio will broadcast this 4th edition of the Eurovision Top 40 that is organised by us, together with 7 other Eurovision fansites. All countries that ever participated are in the list. Most winners are as well, the recent ones at least (only two from the last decade are missing for example). This will be the moment of truth too, will the winners still be their year's favourite song, looking back from today's perspective. Well, we can already reveal that there are some exceptions there.
