Today the 32 entries for the biggest national Eurovision final, Melodifestivalen have been presented..
On Monday Christer Björkman, the big man behind Melodifestivalen and its success, already revealed that the 32 participating songs in the contest would be announced today. 16 of the songs have been selected by a jury, fifteen were invited by SVT and one was selected by the voting internet audience. Which artists will be singing what songs will be revealed later, also in what semi final they will appear.

News Round-up of the day. Christer Björkman, the general in chief in Sweden's Melodifestivalen is quite sure about three songs fro 2012.
He's currently got his whiteboard filled with 32 post-it's that gradually will be filled with colored notes, where red stands for show song, purple for eurovison pop and other colors for other genres. We are hoping for loads of red and purple there in the end. Songs can still be submitted until 20 September.

News Round-up of the day. The 32 songs competing in this years Melodifestivalen will be revealed tomorrow, Christer Björkman announced.
Earlier this week the first entry got selected through internet, the so called webbjoker. That song I mina drömmar is one of many that will be performed in Swedish, Mr. Melodifestivalen Christer Björkman added when he was interviewed by Swedish radio.

News Round-up of the day. MF songs presented, plenty of speculations about artists to sing them.
Today Swedish broadcaster SVT announced the 32 songs in this year's Melodifestivalen. Among the composers we find quite some known names like Molly Sandén, Lasse Holm, Sonja Aldén, Thomas Di Leva, the Moniker and last but not least Thomas G:son and Fredrik Kempe. See all entries here. Speculations regarding artist to sing these songs include some of the above mentioned artists as well as Timoteij, Magnus Carlsson and Charlotte Perrelli.

News Round-up of the day. The Norwegians have presented one more candaidate in MGP 2012: Kim André Rysstad.
Rysstad, a folk musician and big Withney Houston fan is ready for his biggest asignment ever: Melodi Grand Prix. A total of eight artists have been revealed so far for the Norwegian Eurovision selection.

Many of the artists performing at Saturday's Melodifestivalen heat arrived in Malmö today, getting ready for rehearsals and performances in the coming days at the city's relatively new Arena. Charlotte Perrelli, who won ESC 1999 and competed again at ESC 2008, took some time with us to talk about the twists and turns of her performing career, Eurovision wins and losses, and her expectations for her new song, "The Girl". There are some interesting revelations below that we bet even her fans didn't know about.

++ Azerbaijan selects artist tonight ++ Three more acts for Baku selected this week ++ La La Love # 2 in the Cypriot charts this week ++..
At six tonight the Azerbaijani will select their artist for the song contest later on this year in their own capital. Five artist remain (Orxan Kərimli, Səbinə Babayeva, Elton İbrahimov, Fəqan Səfərov and Arzu İsmayılova). The song will not be selected yet. last year two of the finalists were selected. We know all how that ended. A webcast is available here. Can Bonomo and Kurt Calleja, the selected artists from Turkey and Malta will attend the show. Can can't sing his Eurovision song yet, as it will not be presented before the end of this month.
