Russian main newspaper Pravda reports today that Armenia will most likely be represented by System Of A Down at next Years Eurovision Song Contest. The American band with Armenian roots has been gossiped as a possible name for the country before. Read more about it here if you know any Russian.

Eurovision news seems to be quite rock orriented today. The first rumours about who will be taking part in Melodifestivalen have started. According to Swedish Poplight, H.E.A.T might be lining up. The rockers took part in the 2009 edition of the Swedish Eurovision selection contest, with 1000 miles. How can we take this news positively? Well maybe by stating that this probably is good news for rock fans..... oh no, there is other good news, the song they are going to perform is said to be written by Fredrik Kempe, the man behind Eric Saade's Popular and Charlotte Perrelli's Hero, to name a few....

After Estonia's unfortunate 24th placing at ESC 2011 with Getter Jaani's "Rockefeller Street", Estonia is fired up to send a big song to the 2012 contest. Last night, the country held its annual Eesti Laul selection competition and sent five songs to the final. They included:
- Pop Maniacs - "I Don't Know"
- Ott Lepland - "Kuula"
- August Hunt - "Tantsulõvi"
- Liis Lemsalu - "Made Up My Mind"
- Loss Paranoias - "Valedetektor"
