Today the Guinness World Records, the official authority on record-breaking, recognised Englebert Humperdinck as being the oldest male Eurovision Song Contest entrant. The singer has previously held the record for the most consecutive weeks on UK singles chart. In an interview with ITN Humperdinck reveals that he would love to cooperate with Adele and Lady Gaga. Now the question is, would they want that too?

The fourth edition of Eurovision in Concert was definitely the best one so far. This weekend Amsterdam surely was the Eurovision Capital of Europe. With 23 of this year's acts on stage this is the preview event to beat. Read here what our special fan reporter, Martin, has to say about the event.
OA | Sweden on top
Thursday, 15 March 2012 11:10++ Bookmakers place Sweden first, Russia second ++ Germany critical about Azerbaijani human rights situation ++ 2 more songs today ++ ..
Still a few countries are awaited to announce, or select (in the case of Belgium) their Eurovision entry this year, but betting has already started. If you guess Loreen's Euphoria will win the contest and you are right, you get just a few dimes more than you paid. In other words Sweden is currently leading the odds, followed by Russia, Denmark, Serbia and Italy. San marino, Macedonia, Montenegro and malta can amke you very rich by winning, they're last in the order right now.
Loreen is also doing quite well in iTunes land, in her own country her song is both number one and number three in the iTunes top 10 right now (in two different versions).
OA | 15+ songs by end of weekend
Friday, 17 February 2012 10:19++ Roman for Germany! ++ Loads of Eurovision this weekend ++ Søren is back! Without Kirsten, and not for Denmark ++ ..
By the end of this weekend at least 16 of this years entries to the Eurovision song contest will be known. Let us know what is your top 10 so far? Will it be mystical Iceland on top? Poppy Cyprus? Oriental Norway? Alternative Switzerland? Artistic Albania? Middle of the road Denmark? (whoops was there a bit too much opinion in that last one?) Swinging Malta? Or any of the tunes we will get to know this weekend? You can find links to all selected entries on our frontpage or here.

Jónsi (Iceland 2004) is trying to represent his country for the second time, in a duet with Greta Salóme (not related to one of Spain's last winners, as far as we know. On the eurovisionsite made by Icelandic broadcaster RÚV, you can listen to all songs and even watch the show. Apart from Greta and Jónsi's Mundu eftir mér, Blár Ópal's Stattu upp also made it.
OA | Non of the rumors true
Monday, 09 January 2012 18:45News Round-up of the day. Can Bonomo presented as the Turkish representative in Baku.
Many names were rumoured in Turkey, but none of them turned out to be true. Can Bonomo it will be, a relatively unknown name in the country itself. Bonomo released his debute album last year, Meczup, and is mainly known in the more alternative scene. Last year, for the first time ever, Turkey did not manage to make it to the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest. Hopefully he can change this for the better again.
