Ooh Aah | Perrelli might return!

News Round-up of the day. More divas returning to the Eurovision stage? Lulu still going strong.

Yesterday we could report Kate Ryan to be willing to return to the Eurovision stage, today Swedish Poplight can add one other divato the list of possible returners in 2012: 1999 winner Charlotte Perrelli! According to Romanian press Mihai Traistariu wouldn't mind returning for Romania either. He represented the country back in 2006.

News Round-up of the day. Will the Lady realy return to the Eurovision stage? She wouldn't mind.

If Flemish broadcaster VRT would call Kate Ryan again, asking her if she would be willing to represent belgium again, she wouldn't say 'no', she says in an interview with Belgian eurosong.be. Is this the first Eurovision diva we can write down for 2012?

A bunch of Eurovision artists have been performing at the Slavianski Bazaar festival in Belarus these days. Amongst them Dima Bilan, Ell and Nikki and Patricia Kaas, reports esctoday.com.

News Round-up of the day. Jedward touring the UK without singing, Ronan Keating doing Brinck.

According to Estonian Elu24.ee Kerli, Melodifestivalen 2003 and Eurolaul 2004 veteran, is aiming to represent her country Estonia next year. The 'star' is now living in Los Angeles. We have to admit, we like her style, doesn't she remind you of Björk too in the clip below!?

News Round-up of the day.

Armenia and Azerbaijan seem to remain busy with eachother, when it comes to next year's Eurovision Song Contest. The ministry of culture and tourism in Azerbaijan has declared that the Armenians will have nothing to fear. Read more here.

Former Irish member of parliament and 1970 Eurovision winner Dana (the domestic one, not to be mixed up with Dana International) supported a pro life rally in Dublin, together with thousands of other Irish, protesting against abortion.

Well, obviously it is summer and there is not much Eurovision related news going on. According to our colleagues at Oikotimes.com Italy is interested to take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, this year. Their second position in the grown up contest seems to have inspired them.

Ooh Aah | Severina+Brad Pritt

News Round-up of the day. 20 million tourists to Azerbaijan. What about Severina and Brad Pritt?   

Azerbaijan really has high expectations of the contest, earlier on we reported them to expect more than 60,000 Eurovision fans in May, now they even think the contest will lead to 20 million tourists a year. They certainly seem to be flying high and enjoying it!

The real big winners of this years Eurovision Song Contest seem to be the Irish twin brothers Jedward. They managed to make it to the iTunes charts all over Europe and their German tour in September apparently already sold out completely. The guys are overwhelmed.
